Is there a way to get a complete listing of all the DVDs in Queens Public Library's collection?

Can I request a DVD for delivery to the branch closest to me?

Answer

According to the Queens Public Library's catalog, there are over 72,000 DVDs in the collection.

It is possible for you to create lists of DVDs, based on your preferences, by doing searches of our catalog.

For example, from our homepage, www.queenslibrary.org, click on "Books, Movies, & More."  Then choose "Movies & TV" and "DVDs."  This brings up the entire list.  You can then narrow your search by Language.  If you want to see the most recent DVDs, you can also narrow by year and choose 2022 or 2021.

See this Example of a DVD Search to see the filters used and kind of results you get.

Or, you can start your search by clicking "Search" on the top right hand side of the screen and putting in a keyword, such as comedy.  Below, click on "Books, Movies, & More" and then up slightly to click "Search."  You can then use the filters on the left side of the screen to narrow the results of your search.

When you click on a title you like, you can request the DVD for pickup at any of our Open Branches.  You will be asked to login if you haven't already done so.
