How do I login to my account?

Click on "Login," which can be found on the top menu.  Then, enter either your Library Card Number (or Username) AND your PIN.

  • Library Card: Card number is on the back of the card and starts with 11184...
  • eCard: Card number received via email and starts with 5555...
  • Username: An easy to remember name you set up for yourself
  • PIN (personal identification number): four-digit number chosen by you

If you forgot your PIN, you can reset it online.  After clicking "Login," click "Reset Here" after it says "Forgot your PIN?"

After clicking "Reset Here" you will be asked to enter your library card number and email address.  A temporary PIN will be emailed to you.  You will then be prompted to enter a new PIN when you login with the temporary one.  (Note: You must use the email address associated with your library card.  Also, if you haven't received the email, be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder.)

If you never had an email (or forgot which one you used), please visit the circulation desk of any Queens Public Library to reset your PIN. You will be asked to provide ID. Don't forget to also provide an e-mail address so you can reset it online in the future!

Once you are logged in, click on "My Account," on the top menu. Click on "View Account Overview" to see all information on one screen.  If you would like to add a username, change your email address or PIN, or other preferences, click Edit Account (found under your name.)  Be sure to click Save after you have made your changes.
