Is there an alphabetic list of all novels on CD in the Queens system?

I would find it easier to pick something that interests me if I could browse.

Answer

It is possible for you to create a list of Novels on CD, based on your preferences, by doing a search of our catalog.

  1. Go to our homepage, www.queenslibrary.org
  2. Click "Search" on the top right-hand side of the screen
  3. Type: SCD Novel
  4. Limit your search by clicking "Books, Movies & More"
  5. Then up slightly and click "Search"

This will give you a list of novels that have the call number "SCD" (Audiobooks on CDs).

If you want, you can then use the filters on the left-hand side to narrow your search by location and/or Language.  If you want to see the most recent ones, you can also narrow by year and choose 2020 or 2021.

Since you are asking for an alphabetical list, you will want to select "Title" where it says SORT BY.  You can also sort alphabetically by "Author" if you prefer.

See this Example to see the filters used and the kind of results you get.

When you click on a title you like, you can request the CD for pickup at any of our Open Branches.  You will be asked to log in if you haven't already done so.
