Does the library offer free notary services?

I'm looking to get my will notarized and need a notary public.

Answer

Queens Public Library does not offer Notary Services.  However, you can do a google search for "Notary Public near me."  The results will usually include UPS Stores, Bank of America, and individuals in real estate, law practices, local pharmacies, etc., as well as, Virtual and Mobile notaries that perform Notary Services.  Most charge a fee, but generally only a small fee (some as low as $2.00).  Best to call in advance and make an appointment.

Free notary services are available to AAA members at the Garden City AAA Northeast office (516) 873-2382 (for non-members they charge $2.00).  AAA office in Queens does not offer Notary Services.

123Notary.com is a great site when you're looking for a Mobile Notary (one that will come to you).

You can also search in your area for members of the American Society of Notaries.
