Having trouble getting into Libby.
Answer
We are sorry you are experiencing this problem, and you may be having this problem for a couple of reasons.
- If you are getting a message that your Library Card cannot be verified when you try to access Libby, please follow the steps below to reset your PIN.
- Go to queenslibrary.org/reset-pin
- Enter your library card number and email address
- Click Reset PIN
- You will receive an email instructing you to click on a link and you will be prompted to enter a new PIN.
The email will be sent from CustomerService@queenslibrary.org with the Subject: Queens Public Library - PIN RESET. [Check your SPAM folder, if not in your Inbox.]
-
After successfully changing your PIN, go to Libby at: https://libbyapp.com/ (or the Libby Application) and enter your Queens Public Library card and new PIN to sign in.
- If you signed up and have been using a phone number to access Libby, please note that this was only a temporary way. You need to verify that you have a library card and pin. If you don’t, please sign up for a card: https://www.queenslibrary.org/get-a-card/eUser and then try again. If you do have a library card, please follow the instructions above to reset your PIN.
- Once you receive a Queens Public Library card, please fill out and submit this form https://www.queenslibrary.org/about-us/contact-us/contact-us_c3 so that the Help Desk can merge your Overdrive Account (which was created using your cell phone) to your new Queens Public Library card.
