Having trouble getting into Libby.

We are sorry you are experiencing this problem, and you may be having this problem for a couple of reasons.

  • If you are getting a message that your Library Card cannot be verified when you try to access Libby, please follow the steps below to reset your PIN.
  1. Go to https://queenslibrary.org/ on a web browser
  2. Click on Login
  3. Click the link Forgot your PIN? "Reset here"

  1. At the Reset PIN screen, enter your Queens Public Library card number and the email address that is in our system.

  1. Click RESET PIN

The system will email you a temporary PIN.  The email will be sent from CustomerService@queenslibrary.org with the Subject: Queens Public Library - PIN RESET.  [Check your SPAM folder, if not in your Inbox.]  Then, follow the instructions in the email to log in using the temporary PIN. You will then be prompted to enter a new PIN.

After successfully changing your PIN, go to Libby at: https://libbyapp.com/ (or the Libby Application) and enter your Queens Public Library card and new PIN to sign in.

  • If you signed up and have been using a phone number to access Libby, please note that this was only a temporary way.  You need to verify that you have a library card and pin.  If you don’t, please sign up for a card: https://www.queenslibrary.org/get-a-card/eUser and then try again.  If you do have a library card, please follow the instructions above to reset your PIN.
  • Customers with expired eCards or those who got a new physical card may be having trouble as well.
